Ignatius MacLellan, Esq. is Vice President of Public Affairs, having joined NNEHIF in 2008. Before joining the fund, Ignatius was the Director of Fannie Mae’s Northern New England Community Business Center where he worked on housing and community development in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. Before Fannie Mae, Ignatius worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) assisting nonprofits and local governments with the purchase of HUD-owned properties. Ignatius also worked as the attorney member of the New Hampshire Board of Tax and Land Appeals and as a real estate attorney at Sulloway & Hollis, Concord, New Hampshire.
Ignatius lives in Bow, NH, with Eleanor, his wife, and their three children. He attended Boston College and the University of Maine School of Law. Ignatius is the president of Epilogos Charities, a nonprofit that works with a community in El Salvador. He also volunteers at his local food pantry, and he helped start the Concord Area Trust for Community Housing (CATCH).
